This really happened
Today, while grabbing a quick iced coffee at the-place-which-will-not-be-named, I look over at Griffin and he has his hand elbow deep down the front of his freaking pants. I'm like "dude, get your hand out of there." He tells me, in a not so quiet voice, "but MOOOOOOM my penis is stuck to my unerwears!". A dozen people heard this, but only like two laughed. What is the world coming to?

Sporty Spice
Dudettes, I love Tots Soccer. Like love it, love it. I want to gay marry it.
Can I just tell ya'll - I am so proud of Griffin lately. He is 100% going pee in the potty (standing up even!!), sleeping in his own bed, eating oatmeal, feeding the dogs by himself, listening to Fleet Foxes, and kicking major toddler ass in soccer. I probably shouldn't say that last one. Bottome line, he is awesome. I am so lucky that he is my kid.

1. The zoo. Specifically the lions, the gibbons, and the carousel.

2. Soccer is here again!!
3. Everything ever written by Annie Proulx. I have devoured almost every one of her books in the last month.
4. Netflix
5. Fuji apples, forever and always.
6. Last weekend - child free and full of movies and sleeping in and Dexter and treats I didn't have to share. And bagels. It was heaven.
7. Project Runway (Team Logan)
8. Natalie Dee
9. Blogs and coffee. Technically that's two, but they just go together.

Meet GEORGE!
Birthdays, Bowling, and Banana Nut Cheerios*
Bowling! For my birthday!! It was super fun and I'm not the least bit ashamed that I bowled a 52. On top of getting to play my favorite sport, Darren made me breakfast in bed, I got to see GEORGE! who is CRAWLING!, I got a handful of birthday cards and one awesome package in the mail, not to mention like a dozen text messages, some lovely friends and family members donated to a charity I care a lot about, and I was able to buy 8 excellent used books from Amazon thanks to my dad and my other mom.
*I'm not a big fan of cold cereal, having eaten it three times a day for the better part of ages 18 to 23, but banana nut cheerios are the effing bomb.
