- He won't sleep unless surrounded by a bunch of random crap. Golf balls, 8 books, two mini pumpkins, a football, a stuffed monkey, and a baseball bat are just a few things that have occupied the bed recently.
- He says "no do yat peese" (don't do that please) when you tickle him or touch his head.
- He kisses the dogs.
- He gives big hugs and then says "Ooooh nice hug".
- He is obsessed with Wes but is too scared to play with him or look at him.
- Sometimes when he wakes up he says "YAY!!" like he is so happy to be alive. It kills me.
- He calls milk "mook".
- He calls every dinner food pizza.
- He loves babies. Both the real kind and the 20 year-old cabbage patch kind. See below.
- He always wants to be tackled.
- He sings random indie/punk rock songs constantly.
- He says "bye dogs" when we leave the house.
- He makes people work pretty hard for his friendship. This has been frustrating in the past because I think people expect all children to be good-natured and social creatures, and he is often not. Griffin doesn't give his love up to just anybody, it is hard work to get this boy on your side. I really admire that about him though. I hope it's a sign that he will never be taken advantage of, and that he will have nothing but true and meaningful relationships in his life.
- He is not afraid of monsters.
- He is afraid of the dark.
- He always puts his bathtub toys away without being asked.
- He calls snow "nose".
- He loves us. Finally, after two years of work and sacrifice, he really loves us. And he is kind enough to tell us, all the time.

Not to mention that whenever we see him he is in mid conversation of "tennis" and "swing" and "baseball" etc. so cute.
